Rampal Baba Adam's Mosque

This "Baba Adam Shahid Mosque" can be found at Rampal, Munshiganj sadar upazila. It is a six-domed mosque. The mosque is rectangular. The width of its walls is about 6 feet. The religious building has 3 entrances on the eastern wall of this building. There are two large nuggets instead of the entrance and south wall entrance. The niches are a type of wall, where there is an arrangement to store things. There are two pillars of granite stone inside the mosque. On the west wall there are 3 mihrabs. There are 4 octagonal towers in the 4 corners of the building. According to the inscription, in the reign of Sultan Jalal ud-din Fateh Shah, Malik-ul-Muayzam Malik Kafur built this religious building in 1483. Because of the version, the original form of the mosque has changed. The mosque is also known to many as Dargabari Mosque. The mazar near the mosque is known to be the Baba Adam.
